Was founded by the Office of the Secretary-General of IIMSAM to support the work of the mandate of IIMSAM (Intergovernmental Institution for the use of Micro-algae Spirulina Against Malnutrition a UN ECOSOC Observer) by raising funds for its programmes and increasing awareness of the challenges facing the world’s malnourished children, and adults and the deprived populations of the world.
Mission Statement of the Committee can be described in three points:
- Raising vital resources necessary to secure the Global Eradication of Malnutrition and Starvation on behalf of IIMSAM.
- Advocating and raising awareness about the aspirations of the United Nations MDGs especially to ameliorate the plight of the malnourished.
- Complementing the mandate of IIMSAM by financial planning, resource management and allocation, and other best practices.
The Trust-Fund General Members & Royal Family Members and those who are been recruited from all sectors of society and are the first-tier prominent members in their communities from throughout the GCC.

H.E. Amb. Maradona became the Secretary-General of the Intergovernmental Institution for the use of Micro-algae Spirulina Against Malnutrition, IIMSAM, in the year 2007.
