Financing Mechanisms

The Financing mechanisms for the countries that intend to support our Programme with additional centers beyond the initial pro-bono participating Pilot-Projects would be through micro-credit programmes, grant aid, wealthy donors, government and financial institutions assistance programmes and other mechanisms.

One or a combination of these financial mechanisms will enable the establishment of IIMSAM CAMP MARADONA® Sports Complexes using Turfs provided by the Programme and manufactured by sponsors of the Programme that endorse both Programme’s vision and the Secretary General’s Global Compact Initiative. These centers will be located all around the world, in rural areas of needs and in major cities.
The goal is to provide holistic education coupled with access to soccer pitches to underprivileged children, teenagers, young women, the disabled, and adults who will be able to share these experiences with the kids and adolescents.

The Programme will provide children a new type of education through sports as a supplement to their other education which they may or may not be receiving. The Programme will also enable them to become more environmentally and socially aware, responsible and civic minded- key elements for reducing teenage violence, street venturing, gang participation and the violence that it brings.
