Mr. Kussay Ali Al Cheikh
IIMSAM's Goodwill Ambassador Mr. Kussay Ali Al Cheikh, was born on December 3, 1965 at Lattakia, Syria and grew up amid a deep-rooted, family in ethical values and traditions with an emphasis on education.
GWA Al Cheikh appreciates that being a Goodwill Ambassador with IIMSAM will strengthen his ability to fulfill his life's long commitment and passion to help the most vulnerable,feed the hungry and assist the needy and less fortunate worldwide.
GWA Al Cheikh feels confident that Spirulina, a food supplement that IIMSAM promotes, is a powerful vehicle to assist in the global efforts to eradicate malnutrition and disease, and improve the quality of life in developing countries and in particularly those countries facing emergency food shortages.
GWA Al Cheikh graduated from Tishreen University of Lattaki a prestigious educational institution where most of the Syria's Prominent citizens graduate from. GWA Al Cheikh has a Bachelor of Agricultural Engineering.

H.E. Dr. Donald Kaberuka
H.E. Dr. Donald Kaberuka is the 7th elected President of the African Development Bank Group. He took the oath of office on September 1, 2005 in a ceremony at the institution’s Temporary Relocation Agency in Tunis. As President of the Bank Group, H.E. Donald Kaberuka is chairing the Boards of the African Development Bank and the African Development Fund, the soft loan arm of the Group.
H.E. Dr. Donald Kaberuka was educated in Tanzania and the United Kingdom where he obtained his M Phil (Econ.) and a PhD in Economics from the Glasgow University in Scotland. He served as Rwanda’s Minister of Finance and Economic Planning since 1997, and has been widely acknowledged as the principal architect of the successful post-war reconstruction and economic reform programme. He initiated and implemented major economic and governance reforms in the fiscal, monetary, budgetary and structural domains including independence of the Central Banks. These reforms resulted in the widely acclaimed recovery of the Rwandan economy, sustained economic growth and enabled the country to benefit from debt cancellations under the Highly Indebted Poor Countries (HIPC) Initiative in April 2005. As minister for Finance and Economic Planning, H.E. Dr. Donald Kaberuka was the Governor for Rwanda at the World Bank (WB), the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the African Development Bank.
H.E. Donald Kaberuka is fluent in English, French and Swahili.

There goes a Chinese saying, "It is better to light a little candle than curse the darkness." Dr. Naseer Homoud's life best exemplifies this saying. A man of great moral courage, high ideals, extraordinary speed of thought and decision-making, crystal-clear vision and most of all, a personal vitality and will to succeed- that's what Dr. Homoud can be described in short. He made all the difference. His foresight and jest for achieving his ambition makes him stand out amongst all the other recent contemporary entrepreneurs. Dr. Naseer Homoud is definitely a name to reckon with. Dr. Naseer Shahir Homoud, the legendary Jordanian business tycoon, was born on October 31 1963, at Irbid, Jordan. He is widely acclaimed as one of the most enterprising contemporary Jordanian entrepreneurs. He is a qualified dentist, successful businessman and a renowned philanthropist. His ongoing life journey is reminiscent of the rags to riches story. From the beginning, his determination to succeed and his refusal to give up even in the face of impossible odds helped propel him to stardom. He is a successful entrepreneur, doctor and more than a philanthropist and is currently based in Doha, Qatar from where he operates and manages his work. He was nominated as Goodwill Ambassador of IIMSAM in the month of May, 2008 and subsequently in December 2008 he was also escalated to the designation of Director of IIMSAM Middle East Regional Office.
It is not only the business where he excelled rather in his words "satisfaction lies in serving humanity" narrates the other part of his life. Dr. Homoud blending the sound ethics and moral foundations of philanthropy and humanitarianism, is a torchbearer in the path of fight against almost all the social evils, ranging from poverty and hunger to malnutrition in whole world. Motivated by the great ideals and reformist teachings of Martin Luther King and Mahatma Gandhi, Dr. Homoud affects himself in public life as a proponent of non-violent activism, choosing instead to spread goodwill and love among his fellow men with a firm conviction that only a universal conduct can bring forth brotherhood amongst all and obliterate enmity and ill will among humans. Being a man of action, courage and duty as well the campaigner and guardian of social services, Dr. Homoud, after being one of the firsts to underline the imbalances in the production and use of resources, became one of the leading champions for those who cannot afford minimum living conditions such as health, house, and education.
Being an unchallenged philanthropic and humanitarian leader, and treasuring a human feeling for the other humans, especially those who are in dire need of someone who can listen to them and ease their pains and give them the hand of aid, Dr. Naseer Homoud's legacy continues to get bigger across Middle East, fueled by his nearly two decades of tireless commitment to improving his community and the lives of his fellow residents in Jordan Qatar and UAE, especially children, paving way for his belongingness and loyalty regarding Jordan and its people go unsurpassed. Passion for education, sport and improving the lives of children and young adults define the character and personality of the noble soul Dr. Homoud possesses.
He has been awarded with several prestigious awards and the list is very exhaustive. It is not an exaggeration when the host of the event added in Dr. Homoud's honor that "He is a true social leader and worker and he has demonstrated, time and time again, his tireless and energized support and leadership on issues that matter to every person on this earth who dreams of an egalitarian society and in our opinion he fits in a new role of inspiration and role model for Arab youths." His commitment towards sports and fitness can be traced by seeing his active involvement and sponsoring several mega sporting events of the region.
Dr. Homoud would play a crucial role to actuate various IIMSAM's initiatives across the globe that would eradicate malnutrition, achieve food security, and bridge the health divide through Spirulina. His endeavors would be the agency to counter various deprivations associated with malnutrition and in the achievement of the United Nations Millennium Development Goals especially in the Developing and the Least Developed Countries. His efforts in spreading mandates of IIMSAM in the region are indeed commendable and he is indeed a great asset for IIMSAM in Middle East Region.

H.E. Mr. Marco Fantinel, IIMSAM's Goodwill Ambassador from the Italian Republic, is the President of the Fantinel Group. Fantinel is the largest private winery of Friuli, in the north-east of Italy. The group's activity also include catering with the Business School Chain of Restaurants "Pane Vino e San Daniele, a chain of national premises that are dedicated to promoting local flavours; the San Daniele ham production with the Testa&Molinaro company, the oldest factory for the production of the best Italian Prosciutto. The group is also the leading shareholder of the historic soccer team of the region, U.S. Triestina Calcio, in which Mr. Fantinel is member of the Board.
Mr. Fantinel was educated in the United Kingdom, at the European School of London where he graduated in International Business Administration. He would be instrumental to spread awareness and build support for IIMSAM and its various initiatives in the Italian Republic and in the countries that have a presence of the Fantinel Group.
To realise a global partnership for development to eradicate malnutrition and to secure the achievement of the UN MDG's, the Fantinel Group under the leadership of Mr. Fantinel has initiated "Celebrate Life Merlot", a project that would contribute 1 US Dollar for each bottle of Merlot produced by Fantinel and sold all over the world towards the Spirulina initiatives of the IIMSAM.
