IIMSAM Launches Humanitarian Initiative to Help Iraqi Refugees in Syria

The Inter-Governmental Institution for the use of Micro-algae Spirulina Against Malnutrition (IIMSAM) Goodwill Ambassador Ambassador Hazim Othman Al-Juboori from the Republic of Iraq launched humanitarian initiative with the Syrian Red Crescent to help Iraqi refugees in the Syrian Arab Republic. Ambassador Al Juboori was accompanied by IIMSAM’s Special-Adviser to the Secretary General Mr. Samir Al Neel. Ambassador Al-Juboori donated two ambulances on behalf of IIMSAM (Estimated In-Kind Donation Valued at 90,000 USD.) to Mr. Abdulrahman Attar, the head of the Syrian Red Crescent. He also emphasised the crucial role that business can play to secure the United Nations Millennium Development Goals as part of their corporate social responsibility.
