Abdulrahman Abdalla Hassan Eishfie joined the Dubai law firm of Al Shamsi & Co in June 1997 as a legal consultant and is specialised in dispute resolution, commercial law, employment and HR, common and international law and constitutional law. His practice focuses on civil and commercial litigation and arbitration including construction, real estate, privatisation and project work involving (amongst other things) the drafting of commercial transaction documents. His litigation experience covers joint venture disputes, commercial agencies, product liability and employment. He is a senior UAE law adviser managing the firm’s legal team, which provides consultancy services to the Government of the UAE and also advises banks, companies and individuals particularly on dispute resolutions, litigation and arbitration.

He has been practising law in UAE since June 1997, and has arguably the most comprehensive knowledge of the commercial laws of the UAE (as they are applied and interpreted by UAE’s Courts) existing among lawyers practising in UAE today.

Experience

  • Wide experience of commercial law matters.
  • Significant experience of assisting high net worth individuals in succession management/structuring of assets in accordance with Shariaa principles.
  • Has been senior litigation lawyer in Dubai for 17 years, and has personally handled over 1000 commercial cases, 50 arbitration cases, a great number of labour disputes, and a number of high profile criminal cases in addition to his overall supervision of all litigation works of the firm throughout 13 years.
  • Managed a sole practitioner firm in Sudan with a medium staff and led teams of lawyers and trained many junior lawyers through out 28 years of practising in the legal profession.
